WHAT TO HAVE IN YOUR FIRST AID BOX/WHAT IS IN MY FIRST AID BOX

 

As a mother of 3 young children, I have discovered over the years that the following items is a most have in my First aid box or in my case First Aid drawer.

thermometer- to help get an accurate temperature of a child with fever. {please cool the child down with cool water if temperature is over 37c}

PANADOL-for mild fever or headaches. (please get to the hospital if fever is above 37c)

ANDREW LIVER SALT-for older children with tummy upset

BANDAGE- to cover minor bruises and wounds

BONJELA- perfect for mouth sores

METHYLATED SPIRIT-to clean cuts and wounds

PLASTER- to cover skin scratches

HOT WATER BOTTLE- to warm up the body

COLD PATCH- to cool scratches

SCISSORS- to cut bandages

ROBB- to warm the chest and help stop itchy skin.

PEECAN-for colic and diarrhea for the little ones

Please note that the list is not exhaustive and if you have special needs children you may need more items to meet emergencies. Please note that this is from my experience as a mother, you may need to speak to your Doctor on what you will need in your first aid box.
